　Sociology is essentially for citizens.
　Citizens should decide how their society is and where it goes.
　Therefore sociology is most needed by citizens.
　As our society is rapidly globalized, citizens have to become global so that sociology must be developed into global citizenship studies.
　SHOJI Kokichi is now concentrating on creating a new sociology for citizens, especially for global citizens, as global citizenship studies.
